About Us

History

Our story starts way back, when we hatched the idea of the DOHS Podcast.

The DOHS Cares Foundation started out in 2021 with its DOHS Podcast initiative, a bibliotherapy podcast dedicated to helping victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence escape their abuse environment and heal from their trauma by telling their stories and listening to the stories of other survivors.

Our podcast received international support from the Goldstein Center for Human Rights at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

Today, we are a registered non profit with series of programmes and initiatives to help protect women, children and vulnerable people from abuse, violence and exploitation.
